What it is

Exa is a search API with its own index that relies on semantic search through embeddings instead of passing on results from Google or Bing. Besides search it delivers cleaned page text, answers with sources, multi-step research and monitors that report changes. Through an official MCP server agents can search directly, in its basic form even without a key.
