Glaze

Build your own Mac apps by describing them

What it is

Glaze comes from the Raycast team and builds desktop apps for the Mac from a plain-language description. The apps run locally and offline, can access files and system features, and can be shared in the public store or a private team store. If you have a Claude subscription you can build on it without spending Glaze credits, and each app's source code lives in a regular folder.

Why it made the cut
  • Apps run locally and offline on the Mac
  • Share through a public or private team store
  • Build with your own Claude subscription
