What it is

Linear is a tool for issues, projects and roadmaps that is aimed squarely at software teams. Work runs in cycles, new reports land in triage first, projects can be grouped into initiatives, and branches and pull requests from GitHub are attached right to the issue. Linear Agent takes on tasks, and through the MCP server Claude or Cursor can reach the issues too.
