Recordly
An open source screen recorder for demo videos
Recordly is an open source screen recorder and editor for macOS, Windows and Linux, aimed at product demos and walkthroughs. It suggests zooms based on mouse activity, smooths the cursor and places the recording in a frame with a background, shadow and webcam bubble. Editing happens on a timeline with speed regions and annotations, and exports go out as MP4 or GIF.
Why it made the cut- Zoom suggestions based on mouse activity
- Webcam bubble with position, rounding and shadow
- Extensions from a community marketplace
