Supabase gives every project its own Postgres database and generates REST and GraphQL APIs from it automatically. On top come sign-in with over 20 providers and Row Level Security, S3-compatible file storage, Edge Functions in TypeScript, realtime updates over WebSockets and vector search with pgvector. All core pieces are open source and can be self-hosted as well.
