Inclusive Colors

Accessible colour palettes with WCAG and APCA checks

What it is

Inclusive Colors is a browser tool for building a complete brand palette with every shade from 50 to 950 while checking contrast as you go. It works in the HSLuv colour space, where hue and saturation do not shift lightness and therefore contrast. Checks run against WCAG 2 or APCA, and exports include a Tailwind config, CSS variables, DTCG tokens or ASE for Adobe.

Why it made the cut
  • Check whole palettes, not single colour pairs
  • Contrast against WCAG 2 or APCA
  • Export for Tailwind, CSS, DTCG and Adobe
