Shottr
A Mac screenshot tool with measuring tools
Shottr is a small, native screenshot app for macOS aimed at people who work down to the pixel. Besides area and scrolling captures it recognises text with OCR, reads QR codes, measures distances on screen and picks colours, and images can be overlaid for comparison. The download is only about 2.4 MB, and uploads can go to your own S3 storage if you like.
Why it made the cut- Scrolling captures of long pages and chats
- Pixel ruler and colour picker right in the screenshot
- OCR text recognition and a QR code reader
