What it is

Pi is a deliberately small coding agent for the terminal that ships only the essentials. Everything else, such as subagents, a plan mode or your own tools, comes in through TypeScript extensions, skills and packages from npm or git. Pi works with over 15 model providers and local models, and a session's history can branch like a tree.
